About Me
Hi There,
Thanks for stopping by! Allow me to tell you a little about myself…
My name is Leah and I’m a proud millennial currently living in upstate NY. I live with my fabulous boyfriend, Jon, and his toy fox terrier, Skoobee. We’re young and in love (Jon & I, not Skoobee & I ;)) and still trying to figure out the rest of our lives. After obtaining my Master’s in finance and working in the “real world” as a financial analyst, I desperately needed a creative outlet (a girl can only look at Excel spreadsheets for so long!).
*Enter the Pinterest explosion*
After pinning hundreds of recipes and DIY projects, I realized I needed to focus my approach and track my projects – I also thought it’d be fun to share my adventures with others. Plus, what better way to get inspired and to get feedback than through a blog?
With that said, Inspire & Indulge is my first foray into the world of blogging. In addition to cataloging my crafting and cooking projects, I have two other goals with this blog:
- To hopefully inspire others, as well as, continually be inspired.
- Take this inspiration and put it to use and indulge in new delicious recipes and new crafts.
I hope you stay awhile and join me on my journey to Inspire & Indulge. 🙂
xo,
_Leah
Love it! I am definitely guilty of pinning and then never actually looking at the majority of the recipes and crafts I said I’d make…gotta work on that 😉
It’s just too easy to get caught up pinning! Next thing you know, 2 hours have passed… Oops!
Thanks for the follow! Returning the favor…I love your blog and what you have to say here. And the salsa you just posted looks amazing!!
Thanks Stephanie! I love your blog too and can’t wait to read more 🙂

Thank you! Your blog is such an inspiration to me to start learning how to use a sewing machine!
So cool to find out you’re a financial analyst! I’m an accounting/finance grad (and almost CPA!) so I know exactly what you mean about the spreadsheets! It’s good to know I’m not the only “finance” girl out there trying to balance that side of my life with some creativity. Cooking is my major outlet for that! Love your blog!
Thank you – so glad you stumbled across my blog so I could repay the favor! How fun to hear that we have similar backgrounds too! 🙂
Leah, I have nominated you for a REALITY blog award.I have enjoyed your blog posts so much…and I thank you for all of the support you have shown to me.

HI Leah, thanks for following my blog. You have a lot of really cool stuff here. I especially like the cork board and the applesauce. I can’t wait to see what you post in the future. Thanks again!
Thanks, Anna! I’m so glad I stumbled upon your blog. I’ve already come across so much inspiration! I look forward to your future posts as well. 🙂
I’m so glad you stumbled upon my blog because it meant that I could find yours as well! I feel like that as analysts we need an alternative outlet to express our creativity! Spreadsheets and numbers don’t inspire me 😉 I love your food photos and also some of the DIY projects on your site. I’m even inspired to make the toilet paper roll for Christmas! Looking forward to continuing to visit in the future 🙂
Thanks for stopping by, Heather! It’s so fun to learn about our similarities already. 🙂 Blogging is such a fantastic place to share inspiration and to find inspiration!
